Bats of New York State

            Hello and thank you for your interest in this website's origins. I developed this website as a component of my  Masters in Biology through Miami University and Project Dragonfly.  Neither institution is responsible for the content of this website.  

           This website was established to educate visitors about the bats of New York, some of the struggles they face, and how to help. This site is also a data collection tool for my ongoing research into bat house locations and conditions in NY. 

 

            I invite you to explore the vast world of bats, and to consider installing a bat house of your own!
